Job summary

TMF Group in Katowice, Poland, is seeking an Accounting Officer to support the Supervisor with financial and administrative matters for client companies.

The role operates within an international client team and handles journal entries, reporting, cash management, and compliance in a hybrid setup with monthly office visits. Fluency in business English and knowledge of Dutch GAAP/IFRS are preferred; 1–3 years of experience is expected.

Qualifications

• Financial-administrative degree or equivalent.
• 1–3 years relevant working experience.
• Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles including Dutch GAAP and IFRS.
• Thorough knowledge of finance, accounting and cost control principles.
• Excellent business English written and verbal communications skills.
• Ability to liaise with people internationally, through spoken and written channels.

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain computerized administrations and/or financial databases.
• Compile, enter and post monthly journal entries.
• Prepare statutory financial reports as well as client-specific reports.
• Assist in cash management including the management of bank accounts and payment instructions.
• Prepare reporting to third parties, e.g. Chamber of Commerce, Dutch Central Bank.
• Maintain contact with auditors, tax advisors, lawyers, notaries and other involved parties for reporting information.
• Analyze legal documents and extract financial data for financial reporting.
• Execute activities to ensure TMF Group c.a. and its clients comply with sound compliance requirements.
