Job summary

TMF Group Poland is seeking an Accounting Officer to support the supervisor with financial and administrative tasks for client companies, ensuring smooth operations within TMF Group's policies. You will be part of an international client team with delegated responsibility for maintaining accurate files.

The role offers a hybrid work setup with one monthly office visit in Katowice, opportunities for training, and exposure to a global network across 87 jurisdictions.

Qualifications

• Accounting/financial-administrative degree preferred (ACCA, CPA, ACA) or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of relevant working experience.
• Excellent knowledge of GAAP including Dutch GAAP and IFRS.
• Thorough knowledge of finance, accounting and cost control principles.
• Excellent business English written and verbal communications skills.
• Ability to liaise with international stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain computerized administrations and/or financial databases.
• Compile, enter and post monthly journal entries.
• Prepare statutory financial reports as well as client-specific reports.
• Assist in cash management including the management of bank accounts and payments.
• Prepare reporting to third parties (e.g. Chamber of Commerce, Dutch Central Bank).
• Maintain contact with auditors, tax advisors, lawyers, notaries and other involved parties to obtain required information for reporting.
• Analyze legal documents and extract financial data for financial reporting.
• Ensure TMF Group and clients comply with policies from a sound compliance standpoint.
