Job summary

The Search Group is a Risk and Research consultancy with a global footprint, expanding in Europe and East Asia. We seek a Research Analyst to join our Operations team, conducting internet and media research and delivering high-quality reports in English and German to support due diligence and governance projects.

You will perform quality control, watchlist screening, and collaborate across offices to ensure timely, accurate insights for global clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or higher degree in a relevant field (Law, Political Science, International Business, Accounting, Finance or Economics).
• 2–3 years of due diligence or professional services experience or similar report generation.
• Fluent in English and German; additional languages are a plus.
• Ability to oversee and support other researchers and mentor less experienced colleagues.
• Strong research skills across media and ability to explain findings clearly to teams.
• Ability to deliver high-quality reports on time and adapt to ad‑hoc projects.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research on internet or web-based media databases.
• Produce high-quality reports in multiple languages.
• Perform first level quality control through peer review.
• Carry out watchlist database screening for due diligence checks.
• Provide input to improve report writing and team efficiency.
• Collaborate with Research team across offices and stay updated on trends.
• Demonstrate initiative on ad hoc projects as needed.
