Job summary

Siemens Energy is seeking a Civil Site Manager to lead construction activities on energy infrastructure projects globally. You will manage on-site teams, coordinate subcontractors, and ensure quality, schedule, and budget adherence across domestic and international sites.

The role requires a civil engineering degree, extensive turnkey/EPC experience, and strong HSE coordination capabilities, with willingness to travel worldwide and communicate in German and English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in civil engineering.
• Several years of experience in turnkey/EPC large-scale plant construction.
• Knowledge of HSE management and/or safety coordination.
• Intercultural competence with international project environments; willingness to travel worldwide.
• German and English proficiency; additional languages a plus.

Responsibilities

• Overall responsibility for organizing, managing, and supervising all construction activities, as well as ensuring subcontractors perform their services per contract within the area.
• Ensuring compliance with HSE/EHS requirements, local regulations, and safety standards on site in close collaboration with HSE management.
• Responsible for implementing technical and contractual specifications and for technical coordination and management of the construction site team.
• Monitoring construction progress, managing schedules, and initiating corrective actions for deviations or delays.
• Continuously monitoring project budget costs, identifying opportunities and risks, and supporting claims and risk management.
• Responsibility for as-built documentation, regular site reporting, and participation in CIP processes.
