Job summary

Sonova Group is seeking a Generative AI Solutions Engineer to join the Operations and CX team. You will design, deliver and scale GenAI solutions that unlock real-time customer insights, streamline data access and accelerate compliant knowledge creation across Operations and CX.

You will collaborate with global data, IT, R&D and Legal/Compliance to build secure data products and AI-enabled applications that align with business priorities, with a flexible hybrid working model.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of data science or related field with GenAI deployment experience.
• Strong knowledge of LLMs, RAG architectures, embeddings and prompt engineering.
• Proficiency in Python and handling structured and unstructured data.
• Experience with AI-first data pipelines and modern software practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain GenAI applications including RAG, enterprise search and agentic workflows.
• Design AI-augmented development workflows and validate AI outputs.
• Build AI-first data pipelines on Azure and Databricks, with embeddings and vector indexing.
• Evaluate and optimize AI solutions for accuracy, groundedness and latency.
• Translate business needs into scalable AI and analytics solutions.
• Ensure data privacy, security and responsible AI standards.
• Drive adoption through enablement and documentation across CX and CoE.

Contract type: Temporary contract (14 months)

We are currently looking for a Generative AI Solutions Engineer to join our Operations and Customer Experience (CX) team.

Data and AI are increasingly central to Sonova's ability to deliver better outcomes for customers and to improve operational efficiency. This role designs, delivers, and scales data and generative AI solutions that unlock real-time customer insights, streamline internal data access, and accelerate compliant knowledge and content creation across Operations and Customer Experience (CX).

Building on Sonova's global strategy, the Generative AI Solutions Engineer within CX in Operations collaborates closely with global data and digital teams, IT, R&D, and Legal/Compliance to develop robust data products and AI-enabled applications that are secure, reliable, and aligned with business priorities.

More about the role:

• Develop and maintain LLM-powered GenAI applications including RAG, enterprise search and agentic workflows with tool use and orchestration
• Design and implement AI-augmented development workflows using agentic coding tools and LLM-based code generation; establish best practices for reviewing and validating AI-generated output
• Build and manage AI-first data pipelines on Azure and Databricks, including unstructured data processing, embedding and vector indexing
• Continuously evaluate and optimize AI solutions across accuracy, groundedness and latency; convert user feedback into improvement cycles
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable AI and analytics solutions
• Ensure compliance with data privacy, security and responsible AI standards
• Drive adoption through enablement, documentation and standardization across CX and the CoE

More about you:

• 3+ years in data science or a related field with hands-on experience deploying GenAI solutions in enterprise environments
• Practical experience with Azure (incl. Azure AI Foundry), Databricks and PySpark
• Strong knowledge of LLMs, RAG architectures, embeddings, vector databases and prompt engineering
• Proficiency in Python and experience with structured and unstructured data
• Proficiency with agentic coding tools such as GitHub Copilot or Claude Code
• Experience with Git, CI/CD and modern software development practices
• Strong communication skills; able to translate complex technical concepts into business value
• Fluent in English
