Job summary

WIT Software is seeking experienced Backend Software Engineers to join our Product Team and work with Generative AI to build scalable services for a global telecom audience. You will write efficient code, design RESTful APIs, and implement AI-powered pipelines, RAG architectures, and vector DB integrations.

The role requires strong CS fundamentals, experience with testing and code reviews, and excellent English communication. Open to ambitious professionals eager to grow with us.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• Experience with software engineering best practices such as design patterns, code reviews, and testing.
• Strong CS fundamentals and knowledge of Internet technologies and protocols.
• Ability to communicate complex topics clearly and effectively.
• Proactive, able to take initiative and work independently.
• Fluent in English with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Write clean, scalable and efficient code.
• Create high-performance servers using Go, Java, Node.js, Kotlin, or similar.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs.
• Develop scalable server code using gRPC and related technologies.
• Optimize performance for large-scale production deployments.
• Research and develop Generative AI models and techniques.
• Design scalable pipelines to integrate AI models, including RAG architectures, into backend services.
• Fine-tune and adapt models with domain-specific data.
• Integrate vector databases (e.g., Pinecone, Milvus) for RAG workflows.
• Provide code documentation and contribute to technical documents.
• Inspect server code for speed optimization and participate in code reviews.
• Conceptualize and implement data storage solutions.
• Configure usability of frontend applications.
• Maintain a stable server with zero downtime.
• Troubleshoot and debug to optimize performance.
