Verisk Analytics, Inc. in Kraków seeks an experienced General Ledger leader to ensure accurate financial close, reporting, and SOX compliance. You will supervise a GL team, coach staff, and coordinate month-end processes across multiple locations, ensuring policy adherence and strong internal controls.

The role requires 5+ years in GL, US GAAP expertise, and English fluency. Proficiency in Oracle Fusion and MS Office is preferred. A hybrid work arrangement in Kraków is offered.

Formación

• 5+ years of work experience in General Ledger and close processes.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting concepts.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in accounting or related field.
• Fluency in English (spoken, written, reading).
• Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems (Oracle Fusion preferred).
• Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
• Ability to mentor and develop team members.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise GL team workload, priorities, and KPIs.
• Coach and develop team members with performance reviews.
• Oversee month-, quarter-, and year-end closes.
• Manage journal entries, intercompany activity, and reconciliations.
• Ensure SOX controls and documentation are up to date.
• Support internal and external audits and remediations.
• Collaborate across functions to resolve accounting issues.
• Identify opportunities to automate and improve processes.
• Maintain accurate GL data and financial reporting.
