Job summary

Verisk Analytics, Inc. seeks a General Ledger Revenue Accountant for the Corporate Finance team in Krakow. You will work with Verisk accounting teams in the US and globally to provide high-quality service and ensure accurate revenue recognition under US GAAP during monthly closes.

The role offers a hybrid work model (2–3 days in the office), exposure to ERP systems and continuous improvement initiatives across the OTC process, and opportunities to grow in a multinational finance organization.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of work experience in the general ledger/OTC area.
• Master’s degree in accounting or another relevant field.
• Fluency in English (speaking, reading, and writing).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Experience working with ERP systems; Oracle ERP would be considered an asset.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills (oral and written).
• Excellent planning and organizational skills.
• Ability to multi-task, set priorities, and work independently.
• Detail-oriented, meticulous and diligent.
• Continuous improvement mindset, curiosity and resilience.
• Team player with focus on common goals.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process revenue journal entries from Business Units.
• Develop and maintain basic financial analyses and reporting metrics.
• Review customer contracts and billing requirements for revenue recognition.
• Maintain process documentation and support OTC improvements.
• Participate in monthly closing and balance sheet analysis.
• Support investigation and resolution of accounting issues.
