OPmobility is seeking a detail-oriented General Ledger Accountant to support GL and intercompany activities, perform month-end closings, and ensure accurate financial reporting in a collaborative, international environment.

You will work with SAP, Excel, and Power BI to optimize processes, maintain controls, and contribute to continuous improvements across the finance function. Hybrid office/work-from-home arrangements are part of the role.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in accounting, finance operations, or a Shared Services Center environment.
• Good knowledge of Polish Accounting Act and IAS (International Accounting Standards).
• Knowledge of accounting principles and good understanding of financial processes.
• Experience with SAP and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
• Knowledge of Power BI, Power Automate, or other digital finance tools will be considered an advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to build effective working relationships and collaborate with teams across functions and countries.
• Proactive, adaptable, and eager to learn in a dynamic international environment.
• Fluent Polish and English, both written and spoken.

Responsabilidades

• Support General Ledger (GL) and intercompany accounting activities.
• Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, provisions, and prepayments.
• Perform month-end and year-end closing activities in line with reporting deadlines.
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and investigate discrepancies to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.
• Support accounting processes related to fixed assets and other balance sheet accounts.
• Assist with financial reporting and maintain accurate accounting documentation.
• Monitor and track accounting KPIs, identifying opportunities for process improvements and automation.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, internal controls, and Group accounting policies and standards.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across Finance, Shared Services, and other business functions.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and strengthen financial processes.

Job Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive General Ledger Accountant to join our Finance team. In this role, you will support a variety of accounting activities, including general ledger accounting, intercompany processes, month-end closing, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
