Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain GCP infrastructure and cloud services according to architecture, security and compliance standards.

• Implement and operate observability (monitoring, logging, alerting) and ensure operational readiness, including runbooks and on-call/incident support.
• Manage cloud security controls (IAM, service accounts, secrets, encryption) and support audits, vulnerability remediation and policy compliance.
• Optimize reliability and cost (FinOps), troubleshoot complex issues across environments, and continually improve platform stability, performance and automation.

About the team

Our team is part of the Cost Processing & Transactions cluster. The cluster provides standard reporting for controlling group costs, processes accounts payable and travel expense reports, and provides system landscape services to many customers in the CFO department. We are a diverse international team of about 150 employees across Frankfurt, Bremen, Hamburg, Łódź and Prague, serving clients in Germany and abroad. We support around 200 accounting and controlling processes and 45 IT products, from A to Z. We develop and maintain applications used in the controlling environment (group and segment) that provide planning, analysis and reporting functions, and we adapt them to current regulations and business needs.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain GCP infrastructure and cloud services according to architecture, security and compliance standards.
• Automate provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform) and support CI/CD pipelines for cloud deployments.
