Job summary

Commerzbank is offering a Java Developer Intern position in Łódź as part of TalentBank in the Digital Technology Centre. The program targets students or graduates up to 12 months post-graduation, with hybrid on-site work at Wersalska 6, Łódź, and a focus on modern cloud stacks and automation.

You will collaborate in agile teams, gain exposure to enterprise-scale technologies, and develop documentation and builds for test and production.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of Java 17+, Java EE, Spring with Spring Boot.
• Basic knowledge of object‑oriented programming and architecture concepts.
• Basic knowledge of BPMN tools (Camunda, N8N).

• In case of incidents or issues, analysis of the problems in close collaboration with other teams
• Creation of technical documentation
• Preparing software builds and release packages for the move to test and production environments
• Participating in scrum ceremonies (Daily, Planning, Review, Retro) using VidCo/Telco or – exceptionally – in person

TalentBank is an original internship program of the Digital Technology Centre in Poland, which aims to enable students and graduates to gain professional experience in the IT / banking industry. The project can be attended by people who are students or graduates (up to 12 months after graduation). We look for students after the second year of technical, mathematical, business, finance, economic or related studies.

Responsibilities

• Development of applications for modern Cloud platform technology stacks (Dockerized, Microservices, Serverless)
• In case of incidents or issues, analysis of the problems in close collaboration with other teams
• Creation of technical documentation
• Preparing software builds and release packages for the move to test and production environments
