Job summary

GFT Poland is seeking a Tech Lead DevOps Engineer (GCP) to lead a cloud platform on Google Cloud. You will blend hands-on DevOps with technical leadership, guiding cross-functional teams to automate infrastructure and deploy reliable applications.

You will manage the GCP foundation, implement IaC with Terraform, ensure security and operational standards, and drive CI/CD excellence. Hybrid work is available in Kraków, with a strong focus on collaboration and growth.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code and Terraform.
• Proven ability to lead technical teams and drive DevOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage the GCP foundation platform supporting application deployments.
• Lead technical delivery and provide guidance on GCP and DevOps engineering practices.
• Design and implement GCP infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code with Terraform.
• Integrate, configure, deploy and manage cloud services including IAM, networking, logging, OS and containers.
• Manage software-defined networking in GCP.
• Work with hardened Linux and Windows operating systems.
• Ensure cloud solutions comply with defined security standards.
• Build and support CI/CD and automated deployment processes.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure issues and support application teams.
• Provide impact assessments for proposed changes to the GCP core platform.
• Drive automation and platform reliability across the cloud environment.
