Job summary

GFT Poland is seeking an Expert DevOps Consultant with Google Cloud Platform expertise to join a hybrid team in Kraków. You will combine hands-on DevOps engineering with technical leadership to automate infrastructure, secure cloud services, and support reliable deployments.

Responsibilities include building the GCP foundation, implementing IaC with Terraform, and guiding cross-functional IT teams. A strong background in CI/CD, security, and risk management is required, with openness to a hybrid

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code and Terraform.
• Experience building and supporting cloud foundation environments.
• Knowledge of GCP networking and software-defined networking concepts.
• Experience with Linux and Windows in enterprise environments.
• Strong experience with CI/CD and automated deployment processes.
• Understanding of logging, monitoring, availability and resiliency concepts.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage the GCP foundation platform supporting application deployments.
• Lead technical delivery and provide guidance on GCP and DevOps practices.
• Design and implement GCP infrastructure using IaC with Terraform.
• Integrate, configure, deploy and manage IAM, networking, logging, OS and containers in GCP.
• Manage software-defined networking in GCP and work with hardened OS.
• Ensure cloud solutions meet defined security standards and risk requirements.
• Build and support CI/CD and automated testing processes.
• Provide impact assessments for changes to the GCP core platform.
