Job summary

Synechron is seeking a GCP Cloud DevOps Engineer to design, automate, and manage secure, scalable cloud infrastructure. You will collaborate with engineering, security, and operations to build platforms that enable reliable delivery and continuous innovation.

You'll develop IaC using Terraform, configure IAM and networking, implement CI/CD pipelines, and help govern cloud operations while participating in on-call rotations and improving platform performance.

Qualifications

• Experience with GCP or another major cloud platform.
• Strong knowledge of DevOps, Terraform, Infrastructure as Code, and CI/CD.
• Experience with GCP networking, IAM, security, compliance, logging, and monitoring.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Problem-solving mindset and passion for automation and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage GCP foundation platforms.
• Develop Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
• Configure IAM, VPCs, Shared VPCs, firewalls, logging, monitoring, operating systems, and containers.
• Build secure, compliant, highly available, and resilient cloud solutions.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automation.
• Support cloud governance, operational risk, and change management standards.
• Troubleshoot production issues and participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation.
• Improve platform performance, reliability, and efficiency.
