Job summary

Axpo Group in Poland is seeking a seasoned project developer to help shape gas-fired power plant initiatives across the country. You will collaborate with local and international teams to drive sustainable energy investments forward.

You will identify locations, lead negotiations, assess market opportunities, and support permitting and regulatory processes while coordinating with our central GPP team and local stakeholders. Flexibility to travel within Poland and a hybrid work model are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience in project development within the energy or power generation sector.
• Knowledge of the Polish electricity market and energy infrastructure.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with internal and external stakeholders.
• Experience in contract structuring and negotiations.
• Higher education in engineering, economics, or a related field.
• Project management skills are highly valued.
• Willingness to travel extensively within Poland is a must.
• Fluent Polish and English skills, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Identify suitable locations and strategic partnerships for gas power plant development projects in Poland.
• Lead local negotiations and support the conclusion of key commercial agreements.
• Coordinate with Axpo's central Gas Power Plant (GPP) business development team and local stakeholders.
• Assess market opportunities, grid connections, gas supply options, and suitable technologies.
• Support permitting and regulatory processes to ensure compliance with local requirements.
• Drive project progress, timelines, and collaboration with suppliers and EPC partners.
