Job summary

Enery in Poland seeks a Senior Grid Connections Lead to drive all grid connection activities from development through commissioning. You will coordinate technical teams, review regulations, and manage relationships with DSOs, PSE, authorities, and contractors to ensure compliant and timely project progression.

You will also guide technical design, assess CAPEX and contracts, and support financing with thorough documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, Energy Systems, or a related technical field.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in power, renewable energy, utility, or grid infrastructure with hands-on grid connection responsibility.
• Strong knowledge of the Polish power system, grid codes, and IRiESP/IRiESD requirements.
• Direct experience with DSOs, PSE, and stakeholders in connection processes.
• Ability to review grid connection conditions, diagrams, and equipment specs; identify technical and delivery risks.
• Understanding of CAPEX, project schedules, connection fees, securities, and contractual risk allocation.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management; fluent in Polish and English.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with AutoCAD, GIS or similar tools is advantageous.
• Valid Category B driving license and willingness to travel within Poland.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate all grid connection activities across the project lifecycle.
• Provide technical support to development, procurement and construction teams on grid connections.
• Manage relationships with TSOs/DSOs, regulators, consultants and contractors.
• Monitor local grid connection regulations, market practices, and permitting processes.
• Ensure technical due diligence and risk assessment for grid connections.
• Advise on electrical design, plant layouts, and grid connection concepts for optimization.
• Review CAPEX assumptions, contracts, and milestones for grid projects.
• Support procurement by defining scopes for Owner's Engineers and consultants.
• Monitor delivery to meet technical specs, milestones, and operator requirements.
• Prepare technical documentation for financing, acquisitions, and due diligence.
