CD PROJEKT RED is seeking a QA Lead to head the gameplay QA team for Cyberpunk 2, shaping testing plans, priorities, and measurable outcomes. You will guide QA strategy, ensure milestone verification, and improve workflows while collaborating with Production, Development, and QA experts.

The role emphasizes leadership, data-driven reporting, and cross-functional collaboration to uphold gameplay integrity and performance across engines and tools in a dynamic studio environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience leading or managing QA teams.
• 5+ years experience with direct performance management and career development.
• Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, bug workflows, defect management, test planning, test coverage, QA practices, and quality reporting.
• Experience with game engines and editors, preferably Unreal Engine.
• Strong understanding of game development lifecycles and testing strategies including integration, stress, performance, stability, tools, engine, platform, and features validation.
• Experience with QA metrics, KPIs, bug trends, and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and grow the gameplay QA team with clear accountability.
• Adapt and implement Polaris QA strategy into actionable testing plans and measurable outcomes.
• Own testing execution and milestone verification, ensuring tasks meet quality standards.
• Monitor quality metrics, risks, and bug trends to propose mitigation plans.
• Collaborate with Production, Development, Tech, and external QA vendors to align priorities.
• Provide data-informed quality reporting to stakeholders and maintain transparency.
