Job summary

Anshar Studios S.A. is actively seeking a talented Gameplay Animator to join our team in Katowice, Poland. In this role, you'll design and polish high-quality animations using Unreal Engine, contributing to the development of engaging gameplay experiences.

Responsibilities

Job description

Anshar Studios is looking for a talented Gameplay Animator to join our team on site in Katowice, Poland to help us develop games using Unreal Engine. If you have a passion for game development and a drive to make gameplay feel great through animation, we would love to hear from you!

Responsibilities

• Design, create, and polish high-quality character and creature animations using keyframe and mocap workflows.
• Prototype, implement and polish locomotion, traversal, combat, and interaction animations using Animation Blueprints and other Unreal Engine features.
• Iterate rapidly on timing, cancels, and feel to ensure animations are responsive and polished.
• Co-direct gameplay and locomotion mocap sessions, integrate captured takes, and flag retakes.
• Work closely with Tech Animators, and Gameplay Designers to ensure seamless integration.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Gameplay Animator.
• Solid hands-on experience with Unreal Engine.
• Strong understanding of locomotion, combat, and traversal animation systems.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
• Advanced English (B2/C1 level).

Pluses

• Extensive experience with motion capture, including session planning, performing or directing.
• Experience as Lead Animator, Animation Supervisor or Animation Director.
• Hands-on experience with combat animation, including boss fights and complex enemy behaviors.
• Specialist: Contract of Employment - 6 300 - 11 300 PLN gross (depending on skills and experience).
• Senior/Expert: Contract of Employment - 10 000 - 19 250 PLN gross (depending on skills and experience).
