Job summary

SGS Société Générale de Surveillance SA in Warsaw seeks a Business Application Analyst to deliver functional support to global operations. You will bridge users and IT, investigate complex issues, and resolve them at the 2nd line while coordinating with 3rd line for any code fixes.

You will own escalated incidents, run basic SQL, review logs, and communicate solutions clearly to users. English fluency is essential; knowledge of French is a plus.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience as a Business Application Analyst or similar role.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and investigative skills.
• Ability to explain complex topics clearly to users.
• Fluent English; French is a plus.
• Basic SQL skills and log inspection.

Responsibilities

• Investigations and analysis of transaction flow to uncover root causes.
• Provide functional support to application users.
• Act as 2nd line of support escalating to 3LoS when needed.
• Maintain documentation and contribute knowledge base for best practices.
• Collaborate with users globally and coordinate with 3rd line for fixes.
• Run basic SQL queries and review application logs during troubleshooting.
• Identify improvements to prevent recurring incidents.
