Job summary

Xebia Group is hiring a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to develop features with Java, Spring Boot, and Angular. You will design APIs, integrate LLMs, and handle data with PostgreSQL, applying DDD to create AI-powered, scalable solutions.

Ideal candidates bring strong Java/Spring Boot, Angular, REST API experience, and a track record integrating AI APIs. EU work permit and English proficiency required; EU region remote work is supported.

Qualifications

• Strong Java and Spring Boot experience with modern web apps.
• Hands-on Angular frontend development and REST API design.
• Good PostgreSQL knowledge and relational database experience.
• Understanding of Domain-Driven Design (DDD).
• Experience integrating LLMs / Generative AI APIs into apps.
• Experience using AI assistants to improve software delivery.
• English at least B2 level.
• EU work permit and ability to work from EU region.

You will be:

• developing fullstack features using Java, Spring Boot, and Angular,
• designing and implementing REST APIs and integrations between multiple systems and data sources,
• integrating LLMs and Generative AI APIs into the application,
• working with PostgreSQL and applying Domain-Driven Design (DDD) principles,
• building AI-powered functionality to transform unstructured data into structured content,
• experimenting with AI capabilities and adapting solutions based on customer feedback.

Your profile:

• strong commercial experience with Java and very good knowledge of Spring Boot,
• hands-on experience building modern web applications with Angular,
• experience designing and implementing REST APIs and integrating multiple systems,
• good knowledge of PostgreSQL and relational databases,
• understanding of Domain-Driven Design (DDD),
• practical experience integrating applications with LLMs or Generative AI APIs,
• practical experience using AI-powered assistants (e.g. Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor) to improve productivity, quality, or decision-making in software delivery,
• ability to work independently in a fast-paced PoC/MVP environment,
• strong problem-solving skills and flexibility when working with evolving requirements,
• good command of English (min. B2).

Work from the European Union region and a work permit are required.

Nice to have:

• experience with speech-to-text or audio processing,
• experience processing unstructured data, including text, images, and voice,
• familiarity with prompt engineering and structured LLM outputs,
• experience building AI features that require human review and approval,
• experience integrating AI functionality into existing enterprise applications.
