Job summary

Lodzplus is seeking a skilled backend and cloud-focused developer to design, build, and maintain scalable services using Python, FastAPI, and AWS. You will collaborate with frontend teams and data/infra engineers to deliver robust solutions.

Your role covers authentication, CI/CD, IaC, testing, and performance optimization, with opportunities to contribute to AI-enabled initiatives. A strong foundation in security and reliability is essential.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain backend services in Python using FastAPI, Starlette and similar technologies
• Build secure authentication and authorization solutions using OIDC, SAML, JWT and SSO
• Integrate applications with identity providers such as Azure AD and Okta
• Develop asynchronous and concurrent Python applications
• Build event-driven and streaming architectures using AWS messaging services and Redis
• Develop REST APIs and microservices with focus on scalability, security and reliability
• Develop and maintain frontend applications using React, Next.js or similar technologies
• Work with AWS services including EC2, ECS, Lambda, RDS, S3, IAM and VPC
• Automate infrastructure using Terraform and other IaC tools
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows
• Write unit and integration tests and maintain high code quality standards
• Monitor, troubleshoot and optimize application performance, security and reliability
• Work with data engineers, cloud engineers, AI engineers and product teams
• Contribute to AI-enabled solutions using MCP, RAG and Agentic AI
• Support production systems, incident resolution and continuous improvement
