Job summary

Capgemini is seeking a Python Backend Developer in Warsaw to join a team delivering AI-powered enterprise solutions. You will design and evolve backend services and APIs, integrating Generative AI capabilities, LLM APIs, and cloud-native components.

You will collaborate with Cloud Engineers and Frontend teams to ensure secure, scalable, and observable systems, while contributing to architecture and best practices in a hybrid work setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in backend development with Python.
• Proficiency with modern Python frameworks, preferably FastAPI.
• Proven ability to design, develop, and maintain REST APIs.
• Experience integrating AI-powered services, LLMs, or Generative AI into applications.
• Experience building solutions in AWS and cloud environments.
• Excellent communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using Python.
• Build and enhance RESTful APIs supporting frontend apps and system integrations.
• Implement robust, scalable, reliable business logic.
• Collaborate with Cloud Engineers on deployment, environments, and CI/CD.
• Work with Frontend developers to define API contracts and integration patterns.
• Develop and optimize backend solutions for AI-driven workflows.
• Integrate Generative AI capabilities and LLM APIs into applications.
• Contribute to backend architecture decisions and improvements.
• Ensure security, observability, performance, and 운영 excellence.
• Participate in testing, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
