Box Poland is seeking a Software Engineer on the Automate team. You will design and build full-stack features using Java on the backend and React/TypeScript on the frontend to enable scalable workflow automation.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, high-performance services, participate in code reviews, and mentor junior engineers. A hybrid work model with a minimum in-office presence is expected.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software development experience in full-stack roles.
• Strong proficiency in Java and React/TypeScript with REST API design.
• Experience building scalable backend systems and cloud-based services.
• Fluent English proficiency (written and spoken).

Responsabilités

• Design and implement full-stack features for Box Automate platform, using Java (backend) and React/TypeScript (frontend).
• Develop and optimize backend services powering workflow automation for performance and reliability.
• Build responsive UI in React to create, configure, and monitor automated workflows.
• Collaborate with product, design, and infrastructure to define requirements and deliver features on schedule.
• Participate in code reviews, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to best practices.
• Be part of on-call rotation to respond to and triage issues.
• Attend stand-ups, team meetings, and manager 1:1s to ensure alignment.
