Job summary

Box Poland is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Automate team and shape the next generation of our workflow automation platform. You will design and implement frontend features in React/TypeScript, while collaborating closely on backend architecture and distributed systems powering millions of daily executions.

You will work across the full stack, building performant UIs and integrating with enterprise services.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong React, TypeScript, frontend architecture expertise.
• Comfortable across full stack including backend services.
• Solid understanding of distributed systems and backend architecture.
• Experience with cloud platforms (GCP, AWS or Azure) and Docker/Kubernetes.
• Familiar with CI/CD, automated testing, and DevOps practices.
• Ability to influence technical direction beyond own team.
• Fluent English in writing and speaking.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement features for Box Automate frontend architecture in React/TypeScript.
• Build rich, responsive UIs to configure and monitor complex automated workflows.
• Collaborate on backend services and distributed systems powering automation.
• Work with product, design, and infra to define requirements and deliver on schedule.
• Review code, mentor juniors, and help shape engineering practices.
• Participate in on-call rotations and respond to production incidents.
