Job summary

Capco Poland is seeking a hands-on React/Java Full Stack Engineer to join the Global Asset Servicing Platform. You will design, build, and test features end-to-end with full ownership of code and quality.

The ideal candidate will work across backend Java and frontend React, API development, and test automation using Ruby and Cucumber in an Agile squad. The role offers hybrid work with possible Warsaw office collaboration.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Java and React with strong unit testing experience.
• Familiarity with automation frameworks and languages (Ruby, Cucumber).
• Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter).
• Understanding of cloud services and practical hosting environments.
• Experience using AI-assisted engineering tools to accelerate coding and testing.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain features using Java and React.
• Build responsive frontend applications with ReactJS.
• Develop and integrate APIs and web services.
• Write clean unit tests alongside code (JUnit).
• Contribute to automated test framework using Ruby and Cucumber.
• Write Ruby step definitions and Cucumber feature files for end-to-end tests.
• Write automated tests for features developed by others to ensure quality.
• Adopt a test-first approach and ensure scalable, maintainable code.
• Apply performance considerations with tools like JMeter when needed.
• Ensure instrumentation, configuration, and logging for monitoring.
