Citi provides financial services, including core banking and reporting solutions. The role supports application development, platform integration, AI enablement, and production support across its reporting technology estate.

Задачи

• Design, build, and maintain full-stack application components, services, and RESTful APIs using Python and Java
• Develop, enhance, and schedule financial and operational reports using SAP BusinessObjects and relational databases
• Build and integrate AI-enabled tools, machine learning pipelines, and automated processing workflows for reporting
• Implement data exchange and system integration pipelines connecting core banking platforms, data warehouses, and reporting tools
• Participate in level-2/level-3 production support, analyze incidents, identify root causes, and implement bug fixes
• Write clean, modular, maintainable code and develop unit and integration tests
• Write and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and data models for reporting and data retrieval
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, business analysts, and senior engineers in an Agile/Scrum environment to deliver sprint objectives
• Maintain documentation for system architectures, data flows, codebase changes, and operational runbooks
• Develop Python applications, reporting solutions, reusable components, and configuration-driven reporting solutions
• Implement logging, monitoring, and exception handling; participate in technical design discussions and code reviews
• Develop Java applications, APIs, integration services, reusable components, and REST-based integrations
• Investigate and resolve application issues and defects; support automated testing and quality assurance
• Analyze BusinessObjects report logic, filters, prompts, and business rules; support report migration to modern platforms
• Validate and reconcile reports, analyze variances, and resolve reporting discrepancies and data issues
• Build and optimize Oracle SQL queries and database components; analyze reporting data models and apply data validation, reconciliation, and quality controls
• Support reporting performance optimization, data extraction, reporting solutions, and batch- and service-based reporting
• Develop REST APIs and enterprise integrations between core banking platforms and downstream reporting consumers
• Contribute to reporting modernization initiatives
• Support deployments, releases, production monitoring, operational controls, incident investigations, and root cause analysis
• Develop AI-enabled utilities, automation, and reporting solutions; build and maintain AI agents for reporting, analysis, and operational processes
• Develop Python-based AI integrations and automation workflows; support RAG implementations and integrate AI services with reporting platforms and enterprise applications
• Participate in prompt engineering, testing, and evaluation of AI solutions; support governance and monitoring controls for AI-enabled applications
• Identify manual processes that can be automated using AI; support Copilot-based solutions and AI-powered productivity tools
• Contribute to experimentation and adoption of emerging AI engineering practices

• 1–5 Years of software development experience
• Hands-on experience with Python and Java development
• Experience with SQL and relational databases, including Oracle
• Exposure to SAP BusinessObjects development or reporting
• REST API and integration experience
• Linux/Unix and Git experience
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills; attention to detail and data accuracy
• Understanding of software engineering and object-oriented programming principles
• Experience developing or supporting reporting applications
• Exposure to AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Microsoft Copilot, or equivalent technologies
• Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
• Collaborative and team-oriented, with good communication skills and the ability to work with architects, business analysts, SMEs, and development teams
• Strong ownership and delivery focus; willingness to learn and develop technical skills; strong interest in AI, automation, and modern engineering practices; commitment to quality, reliability, and operational resilience
