Job summary

Amazon Fulfillment Poland is seeking an Operations Manager to lead a team of Area Managers and drive operational excellence across fulfilment sites. You will set plans, coordinate safety and quality targets, and partner with HR, Finance and safety teams to deliver improvement initiatives.

You will manage shifts, mentor managers, and align day-to-day activities with business objectives while ensuring weekend and night rotations are covered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or MBA in supply chain, business, engineering, finance or related field.
• Experience in an operational role, or experience in logistics.
• Experience managing teams, or experience in an operational role.
• Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements.
• Flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
• Fluent Polish (spoken and written); communicative English (B2+).

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop a team of Area Managers.
• Lead operational teams on a shift, deal with issues, and positively impact site performance.
• Analyse shift performance against relevant business objectives, and put in place actions to improve our operational excellence.
• Work closely with other support teams, including HR, Finance, Health and Safety, and Security.
• Design and deliver initiatives across the sites to improve operational performance.
