Job summary

ING Hubs Poland is seeking an experienced frontend engineer to build and optimize web applications within the Analytics Platforms & Data Products team. You will work on React-based interfaces, collaborate with UX, and ensure scalable performance in a semi-remote, international setting.

The role emphasizes JavaScript/TypeScript development, RESTful APIs, and rigorous code reviews, with contributions across design, testing, and incident resolution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years of frontend experience (React ecosystem, JavaScript, CSS, HTML).
• Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform services.
• Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and problem solving.
• Solid understanding of DevOps practices including Git, CI/CD, monitoring.
• Experience collaborating with UX teams.
• Excellent communication in a semi-remote, globally distributed team.

Responsibilities

The expected salary for:

specialist position: 7100 - 12 000 PLN senior specialist position: 9600 - 15 000 PLN

The financial ranges specified in the announcement are adjusted and may differ from the range specified in the remuneration regulations.

We are looking for you if you have

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years of experience in frontend technologies/frameworks (working in the React ecosystem. Advanced knowledge of JavaScript, CSS, and HTML).
• Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform services and solutions
• Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and problem-solving skills.
• Solid understanding of DevOps practices including Git, CI/CD, monitoring.
• Experience collaborating with other teams e.g., UX.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of working collaboratively in a semi-remote, globally distributed team.

You’ll get extra points for:

• Programming skills in Go and/or Java.
• Experience with building distributed, reactive applications.
• Good understanding of databases, especially RDBMS.

The Analytics Platforms & Data Products is a team of 100+ people that has the mission to make Analytics Engineering in ING data-driven. We do this by combining UX research and engineering with data science to deliver high-value solutions and products for our organization. We work in a fun and creative environment, and we’re dedicated to bringing out the best in both each other and our projects. We have offices in Amsterdam (main office), Warsaw, Katowice, Bucharest and Manila.
