Job summary

State Street Corporation in Poland is seeking a French Payroll Officer to ensure compliant, timely French payroll delivery across France and the wider EMEA region.

The role requires expert knowledge of payroll controls, tax reporting, and HR operations. You will liaise with internal teams, manage queries, and support audits while maintaining data privacy and governance. Based in Poland (Kraków or Gdańsk) with focus on France.

Qualifications

• Fluency in English and French, CEFR C1 level.
• University degree in HR/finance/accounting preferred.
• 5+ years’ experience in French payroll operations with controls awareness.
• Belgium payroll knowledge is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of French Labor law and tax rules.

Responsibilities

• Deliver payroll & HR operations in French and other EMEA locations.
• Engage with stakeholders to build partnerships across the company.
• Handle employee queries related to French payroll within SLA.
• Act as local escalation point for payroll & HR queries for French staff.
• Perform payroll control and audit activities.
• Support internal and external audits.
• Review statutory filings and annual reporting.
• Prepare and distribute HR reports per guidelines.
• Ensure data privacy compliance across GHR Shared Services.
