Job summary

State Street is seeking a French Payroll Officer based in Poland (Kraków or Gdańsk) to serve as the subject matter expert for French payroll within the Global HR Service Delivery team, ensuring compliant, accurate, and timely payroll delivery while supporting strategic HR operations initiatives across France and the wider EMEA region.

Qualifications

• Fluency in English and French, CEFR C1 level minimum.
• University degree in HR/finance/accounting preferred.
• 5+ years’ experience in French payroll operations with strong controls/regulations knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Payroll & HR Operations in French and other EMEA locations in line with local requirements.
• Engage with stakeholders to build partnerships across the company.
• Manage employee queries related to French Payroll and HR Operations within SLA.
• Act as local escalation point for Payroll & HR Operations queries for French staff.
• Perform payroll control and audit activities.
• Support internal and external audits.
• Review and approve statutory filings and annual reporting.
• Prepare and distribute HR reports within guidelines.
• Ensure data privacy compliance and advise on legislative changes.
