Job summary

WhyHireWrong? is an early-stage startup building an AI-first IT operations platform. We seek a senior full-stack focused engineer responsible for the web app layer and product architecture from day one, collaborating directly with founders. Expect high autonomy, hands-on coding, and daily use of AI coding tools to ship features end-to-end.

You will own Angular frontend architecture, Kotlin backend services, and Postgres schemas, deploying to GCP, in a founder-led environment located in Poland.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Proficiency in Kotlin (or strong Java/JVM with Kotlin ramp-up).
• Deep Angular experience; React or Vue alone is not enough.
• Daily use of an AI coding tool in production workflows.
• Experience with GCP and PostgreSQL: deploying services, schemas, and data queries.
• Ability to walk through a recent full-stack feature end-to-end.
• Located in Poland.

Responsibilities

• Own the frontend architecture in Angular: components, state, routing, reusable patterns.
• Build and maintain backend services in Kotlin and API design.
• Design and query Postgres schemas for identity, devices, and SaaS data.
• Deploy and operate services on GCP.
• Use AI coding tools (Cursor, Copilot, Claude Code) daily as core work.
• Translate workflows into clear, usable interfaces.
• Make architectural decisions independently in a founder-led setting.
