Job summary

fonio is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer for the Polish market, based in Warsaw, to translate customer requirements into robust implementations and live deployments. You’ll own integrations, automations, and ongoing optimization, ensuring fast, stable, and repeatable deployments across Poland.

Work closely with Product/Engineering and Go-to-Market; map complex processes into scalable workflows, build reusable templates, and deliver concrete product feedback.

• Solid coding skills and ability to implement independently.
• Strong understanding of AI systems and LLMs (prompting, tool-use).
• Workflow thinking to translate complex processes into robust flows.
• Experience with APIs, webhooks, auth and integration patterns.
• Cloud fundamentals: deployments and observability.
• Highly pragmatic, fast shipping with stability.
• Polish at native or near-native level & English fluent.

Responsibilities

• Capture customer requirements and translate them into concrete implementation plans.
• Build and roll out fonio setups in production: workflows, logic, prompts, guardrails.
• Implement integrations with third-party systems (API, webhooks, CRM, calendar, ticketing).
• Develop smaller features and glue code to map customer cases.
• Debug under production conditions: calls, flows, edge cases, fast fixes.
• Build reusable templates and deployment playbooks to scale setups.
• Deliver product feedback with prioritized feature gaps.

Your Role

As a Forward Deployed Engineer for our Polish market, you work directly at the intersection of product and customer setups. You capture requirements, translate them into robust implementations, and take fonio live at customers – including integrations, automations, and ongoing optimization. You work closely with Product/Engineering and Go-to-Market, making sure deployments are fast, stable, and repeatable across the Polish market. This is a Warsaw-based role, ideally suited to someone who can operate natively in Polish.

What you'll do

• Capture customer requirements and translate them into concrete implementation plans
• Build and roll out fonio setups in production: workflows, logic, prompts, guardrails
• Implement integrations with third-party systems (API, webhooks, CRM, calendar, ticketing, etc.)
• Develop smaller features and glue code to cleanly map customer cases
• Debug under production conditions: calls, flows, edge cases, fast fixes
• Build reusable templates and deployment playbooks to make setups scalable
• Deliver product feedback: bring pain points and feature gaps to the team, prioritized and concrete

• Workflow thinking: translate complex processes into robust, testable flows
• Experience with APIs, webhooks, auth, and common integration patterns
• Cloud fundamentals: deployments, observability, debugging in production
• Highly pragmatic working style: ship fast, make it stable, iterate
• Bonus: Voice/Telephony, n8n, TypeScript/Python, SQL, monitoring/tracing, GDPR
• Polish at native or near-native level & English fluent
