Job summary

InPost is seeking a Data Products & Management Director for Fintech Engineering to lead the data and AI strategy as the first data leader in a new European fintech platform.

You will build the organization from scratch: Data Engineering & Analytics, ML & MLOps, and Data Product, owning structure, budget and roadmaps.

The role requires 8+ years in data leadership, 5+ years managing managers, hands-on Databricks/Spark experience, and comfort with VP/C-level stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 8+ years leading data engineering or ML organisations.
• 5+ years managing managers or team leads.
• Experience in regulated fintech or banking domains.
• Scaling a data function from zero.
• Fluent in Databricks/Spark at scale.

Responsibilities

• The Data & AI strategy for our fintech build and its delivery.
• Build and structure Data Engineering & Analytics, ML & MLOps, Data Product from scratch.
• Define budget and tooling spending; defend trade-offs at leadership level.
• Provide board-level reporting on platform readiness, governance and delivery risk.
