Job summary

PwC Polska is seeking a Solution Architect to own the technical direction of a strategic platform for financial crime compliance, partnering with senior stakeholders, agile teams, testers and DevOps to drive delivery and modernization.

This hybrid role in Warsaw requires strong .NET architecture, Azure cloud, SaaS delivery and the ability to bridge technical and non-technical stakeholders while shaping product objectives and architecture decisions.

Qualifications

• At least 8 years of professional IT experience, including ≥4 years as a Solution Architect.
• Deep knowledge of the .NET stack at architecture level.
• Strong experience with public cloud in a PaaS model, preferably Microsoft Azure.
• Experience designing distributed, scalable SaaS platforms.
• Ability to work with non-technical product owners and managers.
• Experience with development teams including developers, testers and DevOps engineers.
• Excellent planning, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Knowledge of new technologies and AI-based tools in daily work.

Responsibilities

• Design new functionalities within an evolving platform used by clients and internal teams.
• Own and evolve the target architecture, including cloud-native and SaaS transformation roadmaps.
• Prepare architecture decision records and technical specs for dev teams.
• Define non‑functional requirements (scalability, performance, availability, observability).
• Design for multi-tenancy, data isolation and regulatory compliance from the start.
• Set and enforce standards and reference implementations across teams.
• Review designs and key implementations delivered by teams.
• Evaluate technologies, cloud services and third‑party integrations and their cost impact.
• Support stakeholders in validating business requirements for feasibility and alignment.
• Design APIs and contracts for internal and external integrations.
• Run PoCs and spikes to de-risk major changes.
• Manage technical debt and modernization of legacy components.
• Provide insights into development processes and trade-offs to non‑tech stakeholders.
