Job summary

PwC Polska, a PwC global cloud services leader, seeks a Cloud Data Architect to drive modern data architecture for enterprise platforms across Consumer Goods, Retail, Manufacturing and Financial Services sectors.

You will lead data modeling, workflows and migrations, interfacing with senior stakeholders and leveraging tools like Databricks, Snowflake and Azure Fabric. A hybrid model is offered in Poland.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years in data architecture and data engineering roles.
• Hands-on experience with data transformation tools (Databricks, Snowflake, BigQuery, Azure Fabric).
• Experience building data warehouses, data lakes and lakehouses with Azure Data Factory and Synapse.
• Proficient Business English; ability to write technical docs with PM support.
• Familiarity with AI-based tools and modern data platforms.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing creation of data models to enable target business architecture.
• Designing data workflows and data entity diagrams per inventories of data assets.
• Defining data flow from ingestion to presentation on the data platform.
• Planning and guiding migrations from legacy systems to new solutions.
• Leading a team of data engineers, modellers and analysts on target architecture.
• Engaging stakeholders and applying data standards and governance practices.
