Job summary

Revolut Ltd in Krakow is seeking an Arabic-speaking FinCrime Escalations Officer to ensure compliant suspicious activity reporting across Europe. You will assess cases escalated from the first line of defence and decide on SAR submissions in line with local requirements.

The role involves coordinating with the MLRO, addressing regulatory inquiries, monitoring patterns for emerging threats, and contributing to process improvements and staff training. Fluency in English and Arabic is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience as a compliance/FinCrime officer in a major financial institution.
• Experience in FinCrime operations acting as the escalation point.
• In-depth knowledge of AML and sanctions regulations.
• Experience using internal systems to conduct investigations.

Responsibilities

• Act as the escalation point for suspicious activity cases.
• Ensure accurate and timely SARs are submitted per local requirements.
• Respond to regulatory inquiries and other requests from authorities.
• Manage queries requiring a second line of defence review.
• Partner with the MLRO and escalate significant cases.
• Monitor for emerging patterns and report trends in suspicious activity.
