Job summary

Voyagu, a San Francisco-based travel management company with a growing Warsaw team, seeks a Financial Controller to own the monthly close, accounting accuracy, and the company’s financial statements.

You will consolidate revenue and gross profit with opex, payroll, and costs to deliver a complete view of performance. The role reports to the Finance Director and supervises the Finance Operations / AP & Treasury Specialist.

Qualifications

• 6–10 years in accounting, financial reporting, or financial control.
• 3+ years as Accounting/Reporting Manager or Financial Controller.
• Strong hands‑on experience with P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow prep.

Responsibilities

• Own the monthly close, reporting calendar, and preparation of the P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow Statement, and EBITDA.
• Ensure accurate accounting for opex, payroll, accruals, reserves, assets, and liabilities with correct period cutoff.
• Reconcile revenue, COGS, and gross profit to the GL; maintain balance sheet reconciliations and resolve aged balances.
• Oversee AP, AR, bank reconciliations, and payroll accounting activities.
• Coordinate payroll accounting, tax filings, statutory reporting, and audit requests.
• Deliver monthly management reporting and explain material variances.
• Maintain accounting policies and controls; improve/automate close and reporting processes.
