Job summary

Tidio, a Polish-founded global AI-powered customer service platform, is looking for a Financial Controller to join our small Finance & Operations team. You’ll oversee financial controlling, reporting, planning and cost management while ensuring accuracy of numbers and clear insights for the business.

Based in a hybrid setup with Warsaw or Szczecin options, you’ll partner with stakeholders, build financial models, manage budgeting, monitor profitability, and help drive strategic decisions.

Qualifications

• Bring at least 2/3 years of experience in a similar role.
• Strong experience in management reporting and financial model preparation.
• Advanced analytical skills and proficiency in MS Office tools, especially Excel, Power Query, and VBA.
• Solid financial expertise and interest in understanding the business behind the numbers.
• Ability to investigate financial results, identify key drivers and variances, and draw clear conclusions.
• Fluent English for day-to-day business and finance communication.
• Experience in SaaS or Big 4;
• Solid understanding of financial regulations and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Control the financial operations of the company.
• Analyze financial data, build financial models, and draw conclusions to improve business performance.
• Monitor product and customer profitability.
• Create management reports and financial forecasts.
• Manage the budgeting process and monitor budget realization.
• Participate in monthly reporting meetings with C-level stakeholders, presenting conclusions.
• Partner with business stakeholders to explain cost variances and implications.
• Manage app spend, with focus on LLM-related costs.
• Coordinate day-to-day document acceptance and payments with the accounting team.
• Prepare ad hoc financial analyses and reports.
• Improve financial policies and procedures.
• Work closely with the other Financial Controller to ensure smooth ownership of the function.
