Align Technology, Inc. in Poland is seeking a Financial Analyst to partner with the business, drive FP&A, forecasting and budgeting, and support strategic decisions.

You will work closely with the Finance Director UKI & Nordics and the corporate FP&A team, reporting to the Finance Business Partner Director, EMEA. The role requires strong Excel, SAP experience and fluent English, with a collaborative, proactive mindset.

Formación

• You will need 4 years of FP&A/Controlling experience.
• Strong finance, accounting and reporting knowledge.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills for modeling and reporting.
• Fluent in English and capable of cross-functional collaboration.

Responsabilidades

• Finance Business Partnering with the business for commercial channels (Ortho/GP).
• Be the main finance contact of the business and interface for Finance, Accounting and Controlling topics.
• Prepare monthly forecast, annual budgeting and mid-term planning with functional lead.
• Lead commission calculation process with Country Managers and Finance Director.
• Lead the target setting process with Country Managers and Finance Director.
• Perform ad-hoc analysis and prepare reports with results.
• Identify Risks & Opportunities and provide decision support to Sales and Marketing.
• Improve forecasting processes and tools as required.
• Provide strategic financial insights with deep understanding of business dynamics.
• Drive month-end accruals, prepare SAP journal entries and perform reconciliations.
• Provide commentary for monthly business reviews.
• Coordinate with Accounting, Legal, Business Development on ad-hoc topics.
• Monitor progress of internal projects to meet deadlines and objectives.

Description

You will develop strong relationships with all assigned business partners and maintain an objective mind in evaluating their performance. You will work closely with Finance Director UKI & Nordics and the corporate FP&A team. You will report directly to the Finance Business Partner Director, EMEA.

Role expectations

• Finance Business Partnering with the business for both commercial channels (Ortho/GP).
• Be a main finance contact of the business and interface for the function counterparts with respect to Finance, Accounting, and Controlling topics
• Work with management and supporting the Finance Director to prepare monthly forecast, annual budgeting, and mid-term planning in collaboration with functional lead
• Leading the commission calculation process in close alignment with the Country Managers and the Finance Director
• Leading the target setting process in close alignment with the Country Managers and the Finance Director
• Perform ad-hoc analysis related to the business and prepare reports with respective results
• Identify Risks & Opportunities and provide decision support to Sales and Marketing.
• Improve the efficiency of forecasting processes and tools as required.
• Partner with local management to provide strategic financial insights, ensuring a deep understanding of business dynamics and their financial implications.
• Drive the month end accruals process to ensure operating expenses are accurate & complete, prepare journal entries for SAP upload and perform verifying reconciliations
• Provide commentary for monthly business reviews of the business
• Coordinate with other Departments (not limited to: Accounting, Legal, Business Development etc.) on any ad-hoc, local related topics/projects.
• Monitor the progress of internal projects to ensure deadlines are met and objectives are achieved

What we're looking for

• 4 years of relevant FP&A/Controlling experience
• Solid Finance, Accounting and Reporting knowledge
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field
• Financial Modeling and other Excel and PowerPoint-based skills
• Hands-on mentality and strong organizational and communication skills
• Strong collaboration skills to work with internal and external stakeholders
• Understanding of operational, budgeting and reporting processes and databases
• Fluent in English
• Experience in major ERP software (preferably SAP) is a plus
