Job summary

Iyuno in Warsaw, Mazowieckie, Poland, is seeking a Financial Analyst to support entities across the Nordic region. This hybrid role offers one day in the office and opportunities for both early-career and seasoned analysts to own analytical projects and partner with business leadership.

Responsibilities include financial reporting, variance analysis, month-end close, payroll-related accruals, budgeting, and process improvements. Strong Excel and ERP experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years’ experience as financial analyst or similar position.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• Advanced MS Excel skills; ERP systems experience (Microsoft Dynamics NAV/Business Central) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare financial analyses and business reports, including trend analysis and identifying key cost drivers.
• Analyze and interpret results against forecast and budget; communicate findings to Finance Managers and country managers.
• Support for monthly business reviews with operational management.
• Handle month-end activities related to project accounting, including revenue recognition and accruals.

Job description

We are looking for a Financial Analyst to join our Finance team supporting entities across the Nordic region. Role and responsibilities:

• Preparation of financial analyses and business reports, including trend analysis and identification of key cost drivers
• Analysis and interpretation of financial results against forecast and budget, with communication of findings to Finance Managers, Country Managers, and other stakeholders
• Support for monthly business reviews with operational management
• Month-end activities related to project accounting, including revenue recognition and accrual calculations
• Payroll accounting and reconciliations, including cooperation with external payroll providers
• Calculation and posting of selected accruals, including payroll-related accruals and WIP/POC adjustments
• Preparation of annual budgets and monthly forecasts for assigned entities
• Posting month-end journal entries
• Support for monthly reporting process performed in accordance with corporate policies and IFRS
• Assistance with statutory reporting, audit requests and documentation
• Communication with corporate finance teams on reporting and analysis matters
• Identification and implementation of process improvements and automation opportunities
• Providing backup support for accounting and reporting activities within the team

Person specification:

To be successful in the role, the following skills and experience are desired:

• 1-3 years’ experience as financial analyst or similar position
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
• Experience in financial analysis, controlling, accounting, or a similar finance role
• Advanced MS Excel skills (Pivot Tables, formulas, data analysis); experience with ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics NAV/Business Central would be an advantage
• Fluent English, both written and spoken
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage deadlines and work in a dynamic environment
• Proactive mindset and willingness to learn
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with stakeholders across different functions and countries
