Ferrovial Construction is seeking a Finance Manager in Krakow, Poland. The candidate will manage all financial aspects of the branch, oversee the Finance Team, and ensure accurate reporting to Ferrovial Head Office and JV partners. Candidates should have a degree in business or finance and extensive experience in managing projects.
Responsibilities include financial compliance, collaboration with senior management on strategies to maximize profit and cash flow, and meeting reporting deadlines.
Responsible for all financial matters of the branch of FC UK in Poland.
Oversees all Finance Team in a project, identifying and addressing development needs, providing feedback and career development opportunities, when possible.
Deep knowledge of the budget update process, providing guidance and advice to Project Managers / Project Directors / Project Controls to ensure a robust budget is always in place. Maintains a sceptical approach, challenging assumptions or data not properly explained or backed up.
Advises the SLT / Board in commercial strategies in order to maximise profit and cash flow.
Oversees financial reporting to Ferrovial Head Office and JV partners, ensuring deadlines are met.
Ensures risk controls are properly implemented, and evidences are robust and correctly done in a timely manner.
Provides support to Ferrovial Construction UK Finance Director with any ad hoc requirement.
Collaborates with the rest of the project Finance Managers sharing lessons learned, best practices and opportunities for improvement in the finance systems, processes, team management and any other subjects affecting the finance discipline or the business.
Other ad hoc tasks as requested by the Finance Director.
