Job summary

Aviva Services Excellence Centre in Warsaw is offering a 6-month paid internship in an international finance setting. You will support the Central Finance team with day-to-day activities, assist in preparing reports and analyses, and help with budgeting, forecasting and month-end tasks.

The role emphasizes data handling in Excel, collaboration with multiple teams, and participation in process improvements while enjoying a hybrid work model with some days in the Warsaw office.

Qualifications

• Student or recent graduate in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business or a related field.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel and comfort with data.
• Interest in finance, financial analysis and business processes.
• Attention to detail and ability to work accurately with financial data.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Availability for 3–5 days per week.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the Central Finance team with day-to-day financial activities and processes
• Assisting with the preparation of financial reports, management information and ad hoc analyses
• Supporting budgeting, forecasting and cost monitoring processes, including analysis of actuals versus budget
• Assisting with month-end activities, including data preparation, validation and reconciliation
• Supporting the review and analysis of financial data to ensure accuracy, consistency and completeness
• Helping with finance-related operational activities, including invoices, payments and other financial documentation
• Supporting audit-related activities and preparation of information and documentation for internal and external stakeholders
• Cooperating with other teams across the business to collect, validate and explain financial information
• Participating in finance-related projects, process improvements and automation initiatives
• Assisting the team with other ad hoc tasks and responsibilities based on business needs
