Job summary

Lundbeck Krakow is offering a Finance Intern role within the A2R team. You will gain hands-on experience across Accounting to Reporting processes and support with journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and data collection for GBS projects.

We seek a motivated student in Finance or Accounting (2nd year or higher) with strong Excel skills, good English (B2+), and a proactive, team-oriented mindset. This internship is a stepping stone toward a permanent role in A2R.

Qualifications

• Currently studying Finance / Accounting with at least 2nd year of a Bachelor's or Master's.
• Strong English language skills (B2+).
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and analytical mindset.

Responsibilities

• Support processes across Accounting to Reporting.
• Assist with journal entries booking and reversals.
• Prepare accruals and prepayments as needed.
• Support data collection for GBS projects and internal controls.

Finance Intern, A2R

We are looking for a focused, passionate, and responsible person who is willing to gain knowledge and experience in finance and accounting. You will be responsible for supporting all processes across Accounting to Reporting. Thanks to your support, specialists and seniors can be involved in more complex operations. Having gained the necessary skills and experience, an intern will be a natural candidate for a permanent role in A2R team.

Your future team

As our Financial Intern, you will be part of Accounting and Reporting department that is responsible for accounting and group, statutory and tax reporting processes delivered to over 50 entities around the world.

What is the challenge?

• Supporting Business Areas / Headquarters in daily tax and accounting tasks
• Supporting with preparing of Internal Controls (Compensating, BS reconciliation Matrix etc.)
• Various ad hoc supporting duties to assist with all areas of our accounting department
• Standard manual journal entries booking and reversals
• Preparing and booking of accruals (Bonus, audit etc.)
• Checking and releasing of prepayments
• Supporting in data collections regarding GBS projects

What you bring to the team

• Currently studying Finance / Accounting field of study (at least 2nd year Bachelor's or Master's degree student)
• Preferably member of university forum or with experience in the university international exchange programs
• Very good English (min B2). Another European language is welcome
• Strong motivation to gain experience in Finance
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Good analytical skills
• Strong engagement and focus on achieving goals
• Proactive attitude towards challenges and problems
• Time management and prioritizing skills
