GSK is seeking a Finance Controlling Specialist to join the Close & Control Team in a hybrid role based in Poland. You will support the commercial entity's financial integrity and participate in international operations within a leading pharma company.

You will lead the period-end close, prepare reporting, and discuss results with the Finance Director monthly. A degree in finance or accounting and at least 3 years of related experience are required, with strong English proficiency.

GSK is seeking a highly qualified Finance Controlling Specialist to join our Close & Control Team, supporting commercial market. This role provides an opportunity to contribute to the financial integrity of one of our key European entities while gaining exposure to international operations within a leading global pharma company.

Key Responsibilities

• Executing financial controlling activities for the assigned commercial entity, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with IFRS and SOX requirements.
• Leading the period-end close process, including analytical reviews and preparation of reporting packages.
• Presenting and discussing full entity results with the local Finance Director monthly.
• Performing analysis of accounts, preparation and review of journals, and execution of internal control procedures.
• Collaborating with colleagues across Finance, including Planning & Forecasting Analysts, Regional Controllers, and the GSK Operations Centre.
• Reviewing high-risk account reconciliations, monitoring balance sheet health, addressing risks, and resolving open items.
• Supporting local statutory reporting and tax compliance in partnership with external providers, ensuring accuracy and timely submissions.
• Assisting with audit activities and group consolidation processes by reviewing financial data and resolving related queries.
