Responsibilities

  • Executing financial controlling activities for the assigned commercial entity, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with IFRS and SOX requirements.
  • Leading the period-end close process, including analytical reviews and preparation of reporting packages.
  • Presenting and discussing full entity results with the local Finance Director monthly.
  • Performing analysis of accounts, preparation and review of journals, and execution of internal control procedures.
  • Collaborating with colleagues across Finance, including Planning & Forecasting Analysts, Regional Controllers, and the GSK Operations Centre.
  • Reviewing high-risk account reconciliations, monitoring balance sheet health, addressing risks, and resolving open items.
  • Supporting local statutory reporting and tax compliance in partnership with external providers, ensuring accuracy and timely submissions.
  • Assisting with audit activities and group consolidation processes by reviewing financial data and resolving related queries.

GSK is seeking a highly qualified Finance Controlling Specialist to join our Close & Control Team, supporting commercial market. This role provides an opportunity to contribute to the financial integrity of one of our key European entities while gaining exposure to international operations within a leading global pharma company.

Polish Salary Range / Polski przedział wynagrodzenia: PLN 118,500 to PLN 197,500

The annual gross base salary range for new hires in this position is listed above for each applicable location. These ranges take into account a number of factors including the candidate’s skills, experience, education level and the market rate for the role. In addition, this position may offer an annual bonus and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program which is dependent on the level of the role.
