Zusammenfassung

GeneMind Biosciences is seeking a Field Service Engineer to own end-to-end service delivery for high-precision sequencing instruments, including installation, commissioning, preventative maintenance, and on-site/remote troubleshooting. You will train distributors and lab staff while ensuring maximum instrument uptime.

This role requires travel, strong technical skills, and a proactive customer-focused approach in a fast-growing genomics environment.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Automation, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Semiconductor, Mechatronics, or related technical disciplines.
• 3+ years of hands-on hardware maintenance experience in medical devices or life science equipment.
• Proficiency in instrument assembly, disassembly, troubleshooting, calibration, and fault resolution for high-precision equipment.
• Excellent verbal communication skills for documentation and client interaction.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally for service obligations.

Aufgaben

• Lead on-site and remote service delivery for high-precision sequencing instruments.
• Install, commission, and perform preventive maintenance and repairs.
• Provide technical training to distributor field service engineers and end-user staff.
• Perform routine inspections, diagnose issues, and ensure instrument uptime.
• Maintain accurate service records and reports per quality standards.
• Collaborate with sales, applications, and R&D to improve product reliability.
