Job summary

Canon Polska is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install production printers in the Kraków area and train customer operators on-site. The role focuses on preventive maintenance, on-site repairs, and ensuring optimal performance of Canon ImagePress and VarioPrint systems.

Candidates should have electromechanical and IT knowledge, strong Polish and English communication skills, and a valid driver’s license. Prior field service in printing is a plus.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of electromechanical systems and IT experience.
• Strong interpersonal communication in Polish (fluent) and English.
• Experience with field service, electrical/mechanical/IT issues, preferably in print industry.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Install production printers (ImagePress & VarioPrint) and train customer operators on-site in Kraków area.
• Provide preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance of Canon products.
• Identify problems, perform on-site repairs and tests.
• Escalate unresolved issues according to standard service procedures.
• Maintain good customer relations and manage tools, time, and inventory effectively.

We're looking for a Field Service Engineer who installs production printers (ImagePress & VarioPrint) products and trains the customer’s operators in Kraków area.

Responsibilities

• Installs production printers(ImagePress & VarioPrint) products and trains the customer’s operators.
• Provides preventive maintenance to ensure OCE & Canon products perform optimal efficiency.
• Identifies problems and completes on-site repairs including tests.
• Escalates unresolved problems according to predefined services procedures.
• Participates in keeping a positive relationship with the customer.
• Manages tools and time in an efficient way.
• Maintains a sufficient inventory of parts and materials for on-site service.
• Works effectively in a small team
• Identifies and communicates new sales opportunities

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Electromechanical systems and relevant IT experience.
• Good interpersonal communication skills – verbal and written in Polish ( fluent ) and English.
• Previous field service experience in the fixing of electrical/mechanical/IT issues - preferably print industry related
• Achieves customer satisfaction and loyalty.
• Exercises proper reasoning and judgement.
• Acts cost effectively.
• Maintains a valid driver’s licence.
