Daimler AG in Jawor, Poland, invites you to join a team focused on improving quality in the new battery-electric plant. The Failure Analysis Process Engineer will analyze complex product and process issues, drive corrective actions, and monitor effectiveness across plants and departments.

You will collaborate with development, production and engineering teams, manage projects, and support quality approvals to ensure robust processes and sustained product quality in a multinational manufacturing

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Automotive Technology or a related field.
• Several years of professional experience in cross-departmental and cross-plant collaboration, particularly with the development departments, as well as in committee work.
• Fluent in English (German would be an advantage).
• Experience with Mercedes-Benz or other automotive products and processes (Bodyshop, Assembly).
• Knowledge of quality management tools.
• Analytical, strategic, and conceptual skills.
• Team spirit.
• Independent, goal-oriented, and results-driven work style.

Responsibilities

• Independently conduct complex analyses on product and process issues, initiate corrective actions and manage them through to implementation, effectiveness monitoring, and documenting lessons learned
• Coordinate error handling and ensure the flow of information with other departments, from production and engineering to development, as well as across plants (worldwide). Document these topics in the system
• Independent planning, management, and control of projects within your own area of responsibility
• Participate in the planning and execution of quality approvals
