Job summary

Sealed Air is seeking a Facility Maintenance Specialist to ensure safe, compliant, and uninterrupted operation of site infrastructure and technical systems. You will inspect, maintain, and troubleshoot critical assets while coordinating external contractors to minimize downtime.

The role requires engineering training or technical education, hands-on maintenance experience with HVAC and electrical systems, knowledge of HSE standards, and strong problem-solving and documentation skills.

Qualifications

• Technical education (engineering degree preferred).
• Experience in facility maintenance, infrastructure maintenance, or industrial technical roles.
• Knowledge of HVAC, compressed air, electrical, utilities and building infrastructure.
• Ability to diagnose technical issues and manage corrective actions.
• Experience coordinating external contractors and services.
• Familiarity with technical documentation, maintenance systems, and purchasing processes.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills; ability to work under pressure.
• Knowledge of HSE standards and compliance requirements.
• Certifications (e.g., SEP) or experience with BMS, SAP, Coupa, ISO/BRC, CAPEX projects are a plus.
• Basic technical English is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring full compliance with HSE standards and identifying risks during maintenance, inspections, and projects.
• Performing regular infrastructure inspections (TPM) to monitor performance and prevent failures.
• Managing and responding to equipment breakdowns, minimizing disruption to production.
• Coordinating external contractors and service providers, ensuring quality and safety standards are met.
• Planning and executing preventive maintenance and minor repair activities.
• Supporting technical purchasing, suppliers, and budget control (RFQs, orders, cost tracking).
• Leading or contributing to infrastructure and capital improvement projects.
• Ensuring compliance with legal requirements, audits, and internal procedures.
