Job summary

GFT Poland is seeking an experienced QA Lead to own quality across mobile, API, and UI layers on a customer-facing software project. You will partner with stakeholders and development teams to define testing strategies, identify risks, and drive high-quality releases in an Agile environment.

The ideal candidate has at least 7 years of commercial QA experience, strong testing techniques, hands-on mobile/API/UI testing, and mentoring skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of professional QA experience on software projects.
• Hands-on testing across mobile, API and UI layers in Agile settings.
• Ability to define testing scope, identify quality risks and mitigate them.
• Experience mentoring junior QA team members and coordinating with stakeholders.

What will you do?

You will join a customer-facing software project and take ownership of quality assurance activities across mobile, API, and UI layers. You will work closely with business stakeholders and development teams to define testing strategies, identify risks, improve QA processes, and ensure high-quality software releases in an Agile environment.

• Define and maintain test strategies, test plans, and QA approaches
• Analyze requirements and identify testing scope and quality risks
• Execute and coordinate manual and automated testing activities
• Perform mobile, API, and UI testing
• Collaborate with clients and stakeholders on quality-related topics

• Ability to work independently and take ownership of quality decisions
• Experience mentoring junior team members
• Fluent English and Polish

Nice to have

• Experience with Appium Experience with Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress
• Experience with REST Assured or Postman/Newman
• Practical experience with TDD and BDD
• Knowledge of CI/CD processes and DevOps practices
• Experience with performance and non‑functional testing
• Experience leading testing activities in cross‑functional or distributed teams
